WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW?

I'm an open book!

Photography is my view of the world and a way that I can share how I feel and see things, especially love. The beautiful thing is not everyone gets to experience the same love in this life—be it family relationships, friendships, or romance. It’s incredibly special to see how people love each other and how happy and uninhibited they are in those moments. How you are loved in this life shapes you and I see that clearly through my lens.

I’ve been winging this whole life thing, working damn hard, and chasing love for as long as I can remember. Here I am in Houston 5 years after starting my photography business and I am still pushing myself to limits I never thought possible! Shit, I’ll just say it, I’m proud of who I am and the life I have created from scratch.

We’ll most likely get along if your dog is your best friend (even pre-quarantine), you’re lowkey nerdy, you’re passionate about eating out, you have a inclination to create just for the sake of creating, the theme song to Law & Order SVU is your idea karaoke song, and you would never dream of moving to Florida (I lived there for 30 years… there’s no going back). We’re probably friends already and you just don’t know it yet.

What is the craziest thing you've ever done?

I escaped Florida after being there for over 30 years sweating my ass off and moved to Houston. Now that I’ve had the chance to experience actual seasons, community camaraderie, and a new found sense of calm— there’s simply no looking back for me.

What’s your biggest fear?

Honestly, never getting married / finding my person. This is a huge reason I am so passionate about photographing love stories and making sure couples can express their love uninhibited and without distraction on their wedding day.

What talents do you possess that not a lot of people know?

I was a musician for 12 years. I played any and all woodwind instruments, was in the winter percussion, marching band, jazz band, and All-County band. Don’t get too excited though, I cannot perform at your wedding as a one-woman band.

What food do you dislike the most and why?

American food... don't kill me… I am just not a hotdog, hamburger, or potato chip kind of girl. The one thing Florida did give me is good taste in food—Sushi, Chinese, Indian, Cuban, everything.

Where do you want to travel the most?

My dream is to visit all of the U.S. National Parks in one road trip! I’d also love to visit Switzerland and see the incredible scenery. (P.S. I LOVE to travel, and offer custom packages for destination weddings!)

What are a few of your favorite things?

My dog Mufasa, coffee, nature, ALL games (board, card, video), beer, and trash TV! Weddings keep me on my feet and my brain spinning so I love the being able to decompress, get comfy, and chill the fuck out when I can.
